Packed with atmosphere this Thai restaurant has been quoted to serve  the best Thai food in York.

Offering a variety of freshly cooked and authentic Thai food in an authentically decorated environment. This restaraunt located on Micklegate must be one of York's best kept secrets.

A selection of red, yellow and green curries. All beautifully presented in earthenware pots kept warm over tea lights.

The red curry is spiced, but not overly hot.

The Staff are very friendly, welcoming and attentive.

Visited here in 2007 and it was amazing! The food was just beautiful and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Going back in September to York and will definitely be going to the Old Siam again! Fab! Highly recommend it :)

Great food and great service on every occasion I have visited. On one occasion they even remembered our drinks order even though it was ages since our last visit!

The best thai food i have ever tasted.
The best restaurant dining experience i have ever had. Exceptional in all ways, great friendly staff who were very good with children.
An authentic, traditional restaurant full of character. Excelent value for money.

Go and dine at the Old Siam in York, you will love it.
I made a special trip from Stoke-on-Trent.

I cannot do better than agree with Neal and say that this is the best Thai food I have tasted outside of Thailand. Do yourself a favour and visit soon.
