INSIDE YORK - AROUND YORK
York makes an excellent jumping-off point for the marvellous countryside and unique attractions nearby.
There are literally dozens of stately homes and grand houses within
striking distance of York, many of them open to the public. One of the
most famous of these is Castle Howard, known to millions of television
fans as the location for 'Brideshead Revisited'.
The
scenic and welcoming North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales, Yorkshire Wolds and Yorkshire Coast are all just a short drive away.
Also never forget that North Yorkshire was recently voted the most beautiful county in England!

Sutton Park Stately Home
