Travelling to York

York is easy to reach by train and road. York railway station - a magnificent example of Victorian architecture - is right next to the city centre.

By road, York can be reached via the A1 and A64 from the South and by the A1 and A59 from the North. There are several Park and Ride facilities on the outskirts of the city.
