There are Two Slug and Lettuce Bar Restaurants in York . One Nestled in The Quarter, Back Swinegate, among a bustling restaurant and bar culture, It iis a perfect place to visit. Built around an old curtyard, we have fantastic aspects onto the old York stone streets, once trodden by Vikings and Romans; in the summer, our courtyard is a hidden gem in the centre of the old city.

The Second is By the Riverside and boasts awesome river views.

We pride ourselves on being family friendly and have entertainment for the little ones, including a "Tony Hart" style gallery. We also have monthly art exhibitions, allowing the art critic in all of us to be kept busy over long lunches, coffees or an after-work bottle of chilled wine. Just a stone's throw from the world-famous York Minster.
