Welcome to Foss Bank Guest House, a Victorian town house overlooking the Foss and just a 10 minute stroll from the Minster and the City centre. Under the personal supervision of the owners, we have five comfortable rooms and serve delicious breakfasts using many local ingredients.

We have tastefully renovated the house while retaining many original features. There is a private car park which allows you to leave your car and walk into the City via Monk Bar, one of the original stone gateways through the City walls.

Delicious breakfasts are served using fresh local ingredients including Shambles Butchers bacon and sausage, Bracken Hill Fine Foods jams and marmalade, and local free range eggs.

We have five individually furnished comfortable rooms. Each has either a shower or is fully en suite. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided along with television and hair dryer.

We are within easy walking distance of many local restaurants and are happy to offer recommendations.
